The Ambassador
Amb. Abdu Usman Abukabar
Amb. Abdu Usman Abukabar worked as a teacher before joining the Foreign Service. Postings abroad led him to the Permanent Mission of Nigeria to the UN in Geneva and to the embassies of his country in Buenos Aires and Pretoria. Prior to his appointment as ambassador to Berlin, he was chief of protocol and interpretation of the President between 2007 and 2011. He speaks English and French.
