On June 28, 2024, the Canadian diplomatic community in Vienna gathered to celebrate Canada Day with a special reception at the official residence of Canada. The event was hosted by Troy Lulashnyk, Ambassador of Canada to Austria and Permanent Representative to the International Organizations in Vienna, alongside Jocelyn Kinnear, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Canada to the OSCE.

The reception brought together diplomats, international officials, and friends of Canada in a festive atmosphere. Guests enjoyed a warm and welcoming evening that highlighted Canadian culture, traditions, and the close ties between Canada and Austria. The beautiful setting of the Canadian residence provided the perfect backdrop for the celebration, where attendees mingled and enjoyed a selection of Canadian culinary delights.

In their welcoming remarks, both Ambassador Lulashnyk and Ambassador Kinnear emphasized the importance of Canada’s global partnerships and its commitment to multilateralism, particularly through its work with the International Organizations in Vienna and the OSCE.
