The Implementation of Dual Study Programs in South Africa at work

Ambassador Sizani meets Professors from the University of Baden-Württemberg and the University of Osnabrück

On the 30th July, the South African Ambassador to Germany meets with Professors from two universities in Germany; Prof. van Zyl and Mr Fischer from the Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg (Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University) as well as Prof. Wolfgang Arens-Fischer and Prof. Gochermann from the Hochschule Osnabrück.

The meeting focused on the still on-going project “Mission at Work”, which aims to foster the German-South African relation. The Ambassador exchanged with the Professors on the current stage of the idea of implementing a Dual-Study programmes in South Africa. 
With this programmes student from South Africa are able to study and at the same time put into practice the theoretical knowledge they acquire by working in enterprises in Germany. Through that, Germany and South Africa aims at bridging their economic cooperation.

However, this process is still unclear to be certain of.
