Long Night of Museums

News from Berlin - On the 17th of May 2014, The Long Night of Museums will take place in Berlin. Every year more than a hundred museums and cultural institutions open their doors to visitors and allow them to stay long after the usual closing time. Besides the longer opening hours, the museums offer many concerts and art performances. From 6 p.m. to 2 a.m., artists, musicians and dancers produce temporary works of art in unique settings for all the age groups.
The center of the night will be in the Kulturforum at Potsdamer Platz, where the visitors can get information about the programme and buy tickets for the event. Furthermore tickets can be purchased by at BVG and S-Bahn station counters and in ticketing offices and online as well. The regular admission costs 18 euros and the reduced admission is 12 euros. The programs usually starts at 6 p.m. and ends at 2. a.m.
