On September 4, 2025, the Embassy of Peru in Berlin will inaugurate the art exhibition “Deidades errantes” (Wandering Deities) by Peruvian artist Ignacio Poblet. Hosted in the María Reiche Hall, the opening event will take place at 18:00 and mark the beginning of a three-week exhibition running until September 26.

The collection reflects Peruvian identity through a unique blend of ancestral and contemporary imagery, where Andean gods coexist with seeds, cloudy skies, Lima’s urban traffic, tribal traditions, global fast-food chains and material aspirations. Poblet’s work captures the tension and harmony between cultural heritage and modern life, offering Berlin audiences a vivid glimpse into Peru’s diverse narratives.

Ignacio Poblet, a graduate of the National School of Fine Arts in Lima, has exhibited in Peru, Colombia, the United States, France, Singapore and Germany. His trajectory underscores a cosmopolitan approach that remains deeply rooted in Peruvian heritage.

Visitors may attend the exhibition from September 5 to 26, Monday through Friday, between 10:00–13:00 and 15:00–17:00, at the Embassy of Peru, Taubenstraße 20, Berlin.
