Voting - a Right and a Duty for All Citizens

On May 22, a briefing about the upcoming Kazakhstan Presidential elections was held at the Embassy of Kazakhstan

On May 22, in Berlin, at the initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Federal Republic of Germany, a briefing was held related to the upcoming presidential elections on 9th of June in the Republic of Kazakhstan. Representatives of the leading German media, foreign correspondents and journalists accredited in the country were invited to participate in it.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Federal Republic of Germany, Mr. Nusupov, pointed out the fundamental reasons for the presidential election and described in detail the features of the election campaign that had begun in Kazakhstan. He drew the attention of the electoral process and the importance of voting for the citizens of Kazakhstan living or temporarily staying in Germany.

Mr. E. Seylekhanov , Counselor of the Embassy, and Mr. E. Nurgaliyev, 1st Secretary of the Embassy, informed the participants on the key provisions of the programs of the presidential candidates in Kazakhstan and the political forces they represented in the country. Afterwards, they competently answered questions related to the upcoming elections.
