Japanese ambassador Mizuuchi, visited two international Japanese companies stationed in Austria

Japanese ambassador to Austria Mizuuchi , together with Dr. Mizuuchi, visited two Japanese companies: Panasonic and Fanuc in Austria.

Panasonic was founded in 1918 by Konosuke Matsushita as Matsushita Electric Housewares and Manufacturing Works, a producer of lightbulb sockets.

Since 1920 Matsushita has been launching new innovative products on a regular basis. The ideas may have appeared small, but the products provided a new dimension of comfort and opportunities in daily lives. Since Panasonic’s launch over 100 years ago, the company has evolved to become one of the largest Japanese corporations worldwide. The ambassador had the opportunity to see the production lines and the production process in firsthand. Fanuc provides factory automation solutions, including industrial robots. During his visit, the ambassador was shown several robots and automation tools in action.
