South Korean and German Youth Unite to Strengthen Cultural and Diplomatic Ties

On August 30, 2024, approximately 60 participants gathered for the 12th German-Korean Junior Forum at the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Berlin. This year’s event, held in Dresden, brought together young individuals from South Korea and Germany, along with representatives from organizing bodies, to explore the significance of their nations' relationship.

The forum kicked off with an introduction to German-Korean relations, providing attendees with a comprehensive overview of the historical and cultural ties between the two countries. Participants engaged in a meaningful dialogue, posing questions on various topics, from economic cooperation to cultural exchange, highlighting their eagerness to learn and connect.

Ambassador Lim Sang Beom welcomed the youth, emphasizing the importance of fostering strong ties between South Korea and Germany. He encouraged the next generation to take an active role in deepening these relationships, underscoring the potential impact they can have on the future.
