Ugandan Ambassador Presents Credentials to Ukrainian President
Strengthening Diplomatic Ties Between Uganda and Ukraine
July 18th, 2024His Excellency Ambassador Stephen Mubiru, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uganda accredited to Ukraine, recently presented his credentials to His Excellency President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine. The formal ceremony took place at the historic St. Sophia Cathedral in Kyiv.
Ambassador Mubiru, who is resident in Germany, was accompanied by Ambassador Dora Kutesa, the Officer in Charge of Political Affairs. The presentation of credentials marks a significant step in strengthening diplomatic relations between Uganda and Ukraine, highlighting the ongoing efforts to foster cooperation and mutual understanding between the two nations.
The event underscored the importance of international diplomacy and the role of ambassadors in bridging cultural and political divides.
