Jamaica’s Minister of Tourism, Hon Edmund Bartlett, attended the 2024 ITB Berlin, the world's largest travel trade show. His schedule included meetings with key industry players like the TUI Group, interviews with German travel magazines, and appearances on NTV and Radio Frankfurt.
He also met with Sierra Leone's Minister of Tourism and Cultural Affairs to promote international collaboration.
Minister Bartlett led a regional meeting with the Jamaica Tourist Board in Germany and hosted a reception for the Jamaican community in Berlin. His participation emphasized the importance of global networking to enhance Jamaica’s tourism sector.
Additionally, Bartlett attended the Pacific Area Travel Writers Association (PATWA) International Travel Awards. His presence at ITB Berlin underscored Jamaica’s dedication to global tourism partnerships and community outreach.
