The Ninth Edition of German-Armenian Cultural Days was Launched in Berlin
This year’s edition, aimed at consistently strengthening the bond between the two countries, carries the theme "In the Center of Truths" and was inaugurated with an art exhibition

On May 3rd 2024, Armenian Ambassador Viktor Yengibaryan attended the opening ceremony of the German-Armenian Cultural Days at Karlshorst Cultural Home in Berlin and delivered a welcome speech. The event was organized by the Association of European and Armenian Professionals and by the municipality of Berlin-Lichtenberg and its representative Mrs. Katrin Goksh, with the support of Prof. Martin Pettzold.
In his speech, Ambassador Yengibaryan thanked all the sponsors and organizers and emphasized that Armenian-German cultural cooperation is of paramount importance to us: “it is evident that we are a cultural exporting country, for which I am delighted. It is a great privilege to record this fact. Each week, a variety of Armenian cultural events are held across Germany - yesterday in Leipzig, today in Berlin”.
On the same day, the art exhibition "In the Center of Truths" was inaugurated by the People's Artist of the Republic of Armenia Hrant Tadevosyan, whose stage name is Tatos. The exhibition will be on display until the 1st of June.
The following events are also planned within the framework of the German Armenian Cultural Days:
- “Two truths in music”: classical and jazz concert dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Armenian "KOMITAS" national quartet (May 18 at 19:00, address: Treskowallee 112, 10318 Berlin).
- Lecture entitled "Truth and Art" by Dr. Vazrik Basil, German author, communication consultant, public speaker, lecturer and rhetorist (May 11 at 15:00, address: Treskowallee 112, 10318 Berlin).
- Program for children: Stage performance “Gathering of the Mice”, directed by Eric Barseghyan (June 1 at 15:30, address: Treskowallee 112, 10318 Berlin).
