The Mexican Embassy in Berlin promotes Entrepeneurship in the AI Era
Fostering innovation and economic cooperation between Mexico and Germany

On June 6, 2025, the Embassy of Mexico in Berlin hosted the event “Entrepreneurship in Times of AI”, aimed at supporting Mexican entrepreneurs and fostering dialogue with German innovators. The event was part of the embassy’s regular First Friday networking series, in collaboration with VAF Alemania, the financial advisory window for the Mexican community in Germany.
The program focused on how artificial intelligence is transforming business models. A workshop led by Anita Dordic, founder of Spirit LAB, offered practical guidance on how entrepreneurs can incorporate AI into their projects.
The Embassy’s Economic and Trade Section also introduced MEXPORTALE, a new AI-powered tool designed to support Mexican exporters in Germany by providing advice on logistics, regulations, and market entry.
Ambassador Francisco Quiroga emphasized the role of technology in diplomacy and business, stating: “Supporting entrepreneurs is key to strengthening Mexico-Germany economic ties.”
The event concluded with a networking session connecting Mexican startups, German investors, and professionals from the tech sector. This initiative reflects the embassy’s commitment to economic diplomacy, innovation, and empowering the Mexican community abroad.
