The Marine Environment in the Center Ambassador Sizani on the German-African Business Day
The German-African Business Association held a conference on the importance of marine sector for the African economy.

6th German-African Business Day (GABD) was held on June, 13, 2019. The conference was attended by prominent guests — officials, entrepreneurs, and business partners. The list of speakers included the South African ambassador in Berlin and the Minister Counsellor Economic.
H. E. Ambassador Phumelele Stone Sizani and the Minister Counsellor Economic Jacob Moatshe represented the governmental Operation Phakisa which emphasizes the development of the blue economy in the Republic of South Africa.
The conference gave a possibility to enhance the dialogue between German and African officials, debate about investment opportunities in Africa, and underline the key issue of joining investment with marine environment protection.
