The Ambassador
H.E. Mafelili Christina Molala
H.E. Mafelili Christina Molala is a Lesotho diplomat serving as Ambassador based in Berlin, with concurrent accreditation to Austria. She presented credentials for her Austrian accreditation in January 2026. Her current responsibilities cover bilateral relations with European partner countries and representation of Lesotho in relevant diplomatic and multilateral forums. Detailed official biographical information on her earlier professional career is not publicly available.
History
Austria and Lesotho maintain friendly relations with cooperation in development, education, business and sustainable use of natural resources. High-level contacts have included visits by King Letsie III and government representatives, while areas of mutual interest include mountain tourism, agriculture, water and energy. Because diplomatic representation is non-resident, bilateral contacts are supported by concurrent accreditation and cooperation through multilateral organisations.
