Amb. Daniel Meron
H.E. Mr. Daniel Meron is a senior career diplomat with a highly distinguished track record within Israel's Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He assumed his role as the Permanent Representative of Israel to the United Nations Office at Geneva following a series of high-level diplomatic appointments across Europe and the Americas.
Throughout his extensive career, Ambassador Meron has specialized in European affairs, multilateral diplomacy, and strategic communication. He served as Israel's Ambassador to the Czech Republic, where he significantly strengthened bilateral and technological cooperation. Within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Jerusalem, he held the critical position of Head of the Europe Division, overseeing Israel's diplomatic relations with the entire continent. His prior postings include serving as Minister for Congressional Affairs at the Embassy of Israel in Washington, D.C., and as Consul General in New England.
