The Embassy of Guinea in London

Bilateral ties between Guinea and the United Kingdom are highly cooperative, anchored by key intersections in global mineral logistics, green infrastructure development, and critical maritime security. The embassy operates out of a centralized, accessible chancery building located on Old Marylebone Road. The Embassy of Guinea in London serves as a core command post for executing economic statecraft, direct investment attraction, and natural resource management between Conakry and Whitehall. Under Ambassador Diallo’s proactive leadership, a paramount mission of the embassy is championing economic diplomacy to channel British financial capital into Guinea's expanding sectors. The embassy actively interfaces with London financial syndicates and multinational energy firms to secure sustainable infrastructure investments—specifically targeting Guinea’s world-leading bauxite reserves, iron ore operations (such as the massive Simandou project), and renewable hydropower potential.

Concurrently, the mission collaborates with the International Maritime Organization (IMO) to safeguard shipping corridors along the West African coastline. Furthermore, the embassy maintains an active consular section, streamlining visa protocols for international engineering and mining consultants while providing essential documentation and community networking to support the growing Guinean diaspora residing throughout the United Kingdom.
