Amb. Diego A. Paulsen Kehr
Diego A. Paulsen Kehr is a Chilean lawyer and former parliamentarian. Born in 1987, he studied law in Chile and built his political career in the Chamber of Deputies, where he served as President of the Chamber. He was appointed Chile's Ambassador to the United Kingdom in 2026, bringing parliamentary and legal experience to the bilateral relationship.
History
Bilateral ties between Chile and the United Kingdom are historic and deeply rooted, tracing back to Chile's 1818 independence war when British naval expertise helped establish the Chilean Navy. The embassy is situated in a grand building on Old Queen Street in Westminster, steps away from Parliament Square.
