Amb. Albert Njoteh Fotabong

H.E. Albert Njoteh Fotabong is a veteran Cameroonian diplomat with extensive experience in representing his country abroad. Over his career, Fotabong has held several senior diplomatic roles. From 2006 to 2017, he served as Minister-Counsellor at the Cameroon High Commission in Pretoria, South Africa, and for part of that period (2006–2008) he was the acting Chargé d’Affaires there.

Before his diplomatic posting in South Africa, he worked closely with the Presidency of Cameroon: he was Technical Adviser in the Civil Cabinet (2002–2006), and earlier he had been an Attaché in the Civil Cabinet (2000–2002).

In September 2018, President Paul Biya appointed Fotabong as High Commissioner of Cameroon to the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland.  More recently, on 15 November 2023, Fotabong was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Cameroon to Finland, while continuing to be based in London.
