On 25 March 2025, the Embassy of Cameroon in Germany hosted the second edition of the Literary Café, an event that highlighted the diversity and depth of Cameroonian literature. The event was attended by two writers, Professor Eugène Ebodé and Dr. Priscillia Manjoh, as well as the Ambassador of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Louise Nzanga Ramazani.

The literary meeting, held in Berlin, focused on bilingualism and cultural exchange, offering the participants an in-depth look at Cameroonian literature. The writer Eugène Ebodé, a specialist in African literature, presented his latest novel Zam Zam (2025), a work of historical fiction that narrates the life of a Tikar princess and her links with other African cultures. Meanwhile, academic Priscillia Manjoh, winner of the Mont Cameroun Literary Grand Prize 2023, shared excerpts from her novel Angri (2023), which deals with struggle and solidarity in a fictional country in crisis.

The event was attended by Her Excellency Louise Nzanga Ramazani, Ambassador of the Democratic Republic of Congo to Germany, who stressed the importance of the event for its Pan-African significance. During the day, writers and public discussed literary creativity, the African cultural heritage in Europe and the challenges and hopes reflected in contemporary literature.

With this second edition, the Literary Café reaffirms the commitment of the Embassy of Cameroon in Berlin to cultural promotion and international literary dialogue, consolidating itself as a key space for the dissemination of African literature in Europe.
