The Embassy of Cambodia held a New Year Celebration for the Year of the Dragon
The celebration was attended by the Ambassador Chheang Thira, who gave a speech for the occasion

On April 13, 2024, the Embassy of Cambodia in the Federal Republic of Germany held a New Year celebration for the Year of the Dragon, which was attended by more than 200 participants, including about 50 foreign friends. Speaking on the occasion, S.E Chheang Thira, the Ambassador, emphasized the following:
- The values of comprehensive peace across the country under the wise leadership of Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, the former Prime Minister, President of the Senate and peacemaker who has developed and continues to lead the country in all sectors.
- Samdech Moha Bovor Thepdey Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, is committed to achieving the vision of Cambodia becoming an upper middle-income country by 2030 and a high-income country by 2050.
- An independent, constitutional and multilateral foreign policy that serves to promote and protect national interests.
- The excellent cooperation between Cambodia and Germany as well as investment and tourism opportunities in the Kingdom of Cambodia.
- The plan for the exhibition of Khmer food and products at the end of August 2024.
