The Bayer Science & Education Foundation Opens Selections for the New Fellowship Program
Applications to Become the New Pioneers of Tomorrow Must be Submitted Between June 1st and July 10th 2016

This program targets students and apprentices in scientific and medical disciplines and consists on financial support in order to provide five scholarship programs. The project to be supported must be innovative and international and the scholarships are granted exclusively to students from German-speaking countries wishing to study abroad, or to foreign students who are interested in a study project in Germany.
The goal of this program is to inspire knowledge and encourage talents within these five areas for which each has a specific Scholarship:
Life science, apply for the Otto Bayer Scholarship.
Medicine, apply for the Carl Duisburg Scholarship.
Agro Science, apply for the Jeff Schell Scholarship.
Biology and Chemistry Educators, apply for the Kurt Hansen Scholarship.
Apprentices and young professionals in no-academic professions can apply for the Hermann Strenger Scholarship.
Since the start of the 20th Century, the Bayer Group has been promoting the sciences with a systematic approach that comprises both financial and conceptual support. Scholarship programs and awards for outstanding research were central components of this work from an early stage.
