February 03rd, 2026From 16 to 25 January 2026, the International Green Week—one of the world’s leading exhibitions for agriculture and food—is taking place at the Messe Berlin exhibition centre, marking its 100th anniversary. Against this backdrop, the Republic of Tajikistan is participating in International Green Week 2026 with a national delegation led by the Deputy Minister of Agriculture, underscoring the country’s commitment to strengthening international cooperation in the agricultural and food sectors.
The Tajik delegation comprises representatives of relevant ministries and agencies, as well as members of the private sector. Throughout the exhibition, Tajikistan is presenting the achievements, capacities, and development potential of its agricultural and food industries, highlighting both traditional strengths and emerging opportunities. The participation reflects Tajikistan’s broader efforts to promote its agri-food sector on the international stage and to foster mutually beneficial partnerships.
At Tajikistan’s national stand, visitors can explore a diverse range of agricultural products, goods manufactured by domestic enterprises, and examples of traditional handicrafts. The presentation has attracted considerable interest from visitors and professional audiences in Germany, serving as a platform to showcase the quality, diversity, and authenticity of Tajik products.
On the margins of the exhibition, a series of meetings and discussions are being held between representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tajikistan and counterparts from German and other international ministries, agencies, companies, and institutions. These exchanges focus on expanding bilateral cooperation, attracting investment, and advancing joint projects in agriculture and food production.
Tajikistan’s participation in the centenary edition of International Green Week reaffirms its intention to deepen international partnerships and contribute actively to global dialogue on sustainable agriculture and food security, while opening new avenues for long-term cooperation with Germany and other partners.
