News from Berlin - The Irish Embassy in Berlin have announced that they are very pleased to exhibit paintings by Eve Parnell, an Irish artist whose exhibition opened on Wednesday 2nd April 2014.

The images that are displayed at the embassy are those that were previously exhibited in Rome. It has been said that you can sense miracles that surround her work as well as people, nature and objects. The viewer is able to perceive her images through a “wonderful alternative” dimension.

Eve Parnell graduated from the National College of Art and Design in 2002 with a BA in Fine Art specialised in painting. She has also had her work displayed at several exhibitions in England and Ireland such as the ‘Time in Your Pocket’ at the Courthouse Arts Centre, Tinahely and ‘The Hen Did not Care to be Caught’ at the Fred Winter Gallery in Stratford upon Avon. Parnell has previously shown her work at the Embassy of Ireland to Germany in 2011 under the title ‘Willkommen Wanderer / Fáilte don taisteallach’

The Hon. Amb. Collins launched the exhibition under the title “Im Meer des Staubs, ein liebevolles Leuchten” at the embassy.
