News from Berlin – Until May 16^th you have the chance to submit an application to participate in the German-Chinese Exchange Programme which is an opportunity for 10 Chinese and German Culture managers in equal numbers to participate.

This exchange and qualification programme in cultural management will take place from 30 August to 07 December 2014.

An essential programme goal is the development of German-Chinese cultural projects. The German-Chinese Exchange Programme mediates knowledge and competencies for bilateral cooperation in the cultural area. It links cultural managers and cultural institutions to strengthen the cooperation between Germany and China in this sector.

The German-Chinese Exchange Programme will be organised by the Goethe-Institut and the Stiftung Mercator. The programme lasts 3 months for all participants, including 6 weeks in Germany (Hamburg, Berlin) and 6 weeks in China (Beijing, Shanghai).
