The Oktoberfest celebrations bring the Bavarian way of life to Berlin, including culinary specialties such as roast pork knuckles, veal sausage and soft pretzels.

Of course, including the famous Oktoberfest beer, as well as traditional live music. Although the celebration is even bigger in other parts of Germany, such as in Munich.

In Munich, the celebration of the Oktoberfest started the 17th of September and is ongoing until the beginning of October. This year is the 187th anniversary of this holiday and is celebrated with typical German food, beer tents, fairground rides and showmen. In 2014, there were more than 7 million liters of beer served during the Oktober celebrations, making it the year where the most beer was consumed in the history of Oktoberfests.
