Nowruz Celebrations at the United Nations in Vienna

Ambassador Manizha Bakhtari joined the annual Nowruz Celebrations at UN Vienna - Vienna International Centre (VIC), along with the team from the Embassy and Permanent Mission of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.
Hosted and organized collaboratively by the missions of Afghanistan, India, Iran, Iraq, Pakistan, Russia, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan, the event was a display of different ways and traditions of celebrating Nowruz, the holiday of the arrival of spring and the spring equinox.
The team of the Embassy and Permanent Mission of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan expressed their gratitude to UNOV (United Nation Office in Vienna) and the esteemed Director General Ghada Waly for their support.
The Mission of Afghanistan has also delighted the guests present there with a traditional musical show, traditional cuisine and a stunning display of cultural handicrafts from Afghanistan.
