Zeit Magazine published the article praising the chef Kenneth Gjerrud and his team, as the food in Felleshus canteen can easily compete with some of Germany´s top restaurants.

The Felleshus – literally, house of all, is a cultural center of the Nordic Embassies. It’s worth visiting not only for its appealing architecture of exposed concrete and maple wood that creates a warm, friendly atmosphere. On the third floor you can find canteen with Nordic and international cuisine. And after you finish your lunch there is an excellent coffee bar. All the tables and stools were designed by the Danish designer Sigurd Larsen especially for the Felleshus, where you can also buy some pieces.

The Felleshus canteen offers three different lunch dishes each day - including fresh fish and a vegetarian dish every day - typical Smørrebrød, pastries, fruit, hot and cold drinks as well as Nordic beer and aquavit. The chef behind the daily menu is Kenneth Gjerrud, originally from Norway, also running the Norwegian restaurant Munch's Hus in Berlin. You can try some of his creations every Monday until Friday from 10 to 16. At peak time from 11:30 to 13 clock, the Felleshus is open only to embassy staff.
