New Year’s Eve in Berlin

Every year Berlin invites all the Berliners and visitors from around the world to celebrate the beginning of the New Year attending several and different events

As Germany’s main city and tourist desination, with a world-reknowned nightlife, we should not be surprised that Berlin is the perfect city to celebrate New Year’s Eve. A lot of events have been organized for this special evening with their only purpose to offer a unique experience to those who will spend the evening in the city.

One of Europe's biggest street parties on New Year’s Eve is celebrated between Brandenburg Gate and the Victory Column in Berlin. The whole area between the Victory Column and the Gate will be will be fenced in for people to celebrate. Another option for those who love movie theatres is the Kino International, where the magic of showbiz is happening and can enjoy an exciting New Year’s Eve Party in a charming atmosphere of an historical movie theatre. Kino International has long been a significant place for its own brand of ’60s Soviet-era glam and it will open its doors around 22.00 on the 31st of December.

Celebrating New Year's Eve in Berlin right at the Berlin Wall and the East Side Gallery with a wonderful view onto the river Spree and the famous Oberbaumbrücke is also one of the most worthy options to spend New Year’s Eve. Additionally to the 3 floors on the inside, the Pirates Berlin offers a huge partial roofed waterside terrace exclusive to the guests. From the terrace the astonishing view over the Spree river and the Oberbaumbrücke is laying down and also the fireworks will be the cheery on the pie for a beautiful and festive evening.
