Nepal’s Participation in BIOFACH 2022
In July 2022, the Nepalese Embassy participated in BIOFACH 2022 held in Berlin

From 26th of July to 29th of July, the embassy of Nepal participated in BIOFACH, a leading international trade fair for organic herbal and agriculture-based products.
BIOFACH 2022 was inaugurated by the Federal Minister of Food and agriculture of Germany, Mr. Cem Özdemir.
During this event, the Embassy of Nepal participated as the institutional exhibitor of six private limited companies from Nepal, including Himalayan Bio Trade, Pathivara T Traders, Leaf Plus, Satya International, Annapurna Aroma Company and Alternative Herbal Products. BIOFACH helped Nepali exhibitors showcase products in the pavilion as well as helping them with personal exchanges and networking.
This year of BIOFACH was extraordinary as it was the first one held after the COVID-19 pandemic, with the presence of the organizers, exhibitors, buyers and sellers, this event was very successful. Next time BIOFACH will be held from 14th February to 17th in 2023 and the embassy of Nepal wishes to attract even more participants and exhibitors with origins from their home country. BIOFACH gives a great opportunity for companies to embark in international markets.
