Nepal Sales Mission 2019 in Munich, Germany

The Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) hosted a “Nepal Sales Mission”

H.E. Mr. Ramesh Prasad Khanal, Ambassador of Nepal to Germany presented his views of tourism in Nepal to German travel and tour operators.

Ambassador Khanal welcomed German tour operators and gave a brief description on the recent growth in Nepal bound tourists from Germany. Additionally, he discussed the importance  of sustained efforts from all stakeholders to keep this tourism trend growing.

By outlining the objectives of the Visit Nepal Year 2020, Ambassador Khanal emphasized the needed cooperation between Nepali counterparts and German tour operators to meet Nepal’s goal of 2 million tourists by 2020. During this event, Mr. Diwakar Rana, Senior Director of the NTB, gave a presentation on the prospects of Nepali tourism. Ambassador Khanal also awarded the prize of visiting Nepal in the near future to three lottery winners.

The event took place on May 31, 2019 in Munich, Germany. Mr. Ludwig Greissl, Honorary Consul General of Nepal in Munich, was also present at the event.
