On June 23, the Diaspora Invest event, organized by the Investment Agency of Moldova in partnership with national authorities, took place in Berlin. This significant event aimed to inform diaspora citizens about the various tools and financial support available for businesses offered by national authorities. Additionally, the event highlighted investment opportunities and the potential of different economic sectors, including agriculture, tourism, and IT.

The event featured insightful presentations from representatives of national authorities, providing valuable information on the resources available for diaspora members looking to invest in Moldova. Participants also had the unique opportunity to hear inspiring stories from fellow citizens who had returned from the diaspora to Moldova, successfully establishing businesses with the support of the Organization for the Development of Entrepreneurship (ODA) and other development partners.

One of the key highlights of the conference was the interactive sessions, which allowed guests from the diaspora to engage directly with both the successful entrepreneurs and representatives of government institutions in Moldova. These interactions provided a platform for attendees to ask questions, share experiences, and gain a deeper understanding of the investment landscape and business opportunities in Moldova.

The Diaspora Invest event in Berlin successfully created a bridge between Moldovan citizens abroad and the economic opportunities back home, fostering a sense of community and encouraging investment in Moldova's growing economy. This initiative not only aims to support the diaspora in their entrepreneurial endeavours but also strengthens the economic ties between Moldova and its global citizens, ensuring a prosperous future for all involved.
