Amb. Ezekiel Barclay Pajibo
Mr. Ezekiel Barclay Pajibo is a seasoned Liberian diplomat and multilateral specialist with extensive experience within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Liberia. Steering the mission in Geneva as Chargé d'affaires ad interim, he brings a deeply collaborative and pragmatic approach to diplomatic engagement.
Throughout his diplomatic career, Mr. Pajibo has specialized in post-conflict institutional building, economic partnership frameworks, and human rights advocacy. He has held strategic positions both within the central ministry in Monrovia and in critical foreign postings, focusing heavily on West African regional security and bilateral relations. Known for his keen understanding of international administrative processes, he plays a key role in aligning Liberia's national recovery agendas with the technical assistance mechanisms provided by global organizations in Geneva.

The Permanent Mission in Geneva serves as Liberia’s direct interface with the UN Human Rights Council, the World Health Organization (WHO), and the World Trade Organization (WTO). Historically, the mission’s core strategies are built around three crucial areas: securing global technical assistance for judicial reform, driving universal healthcare infrastructure (a priority heavily shaped by the post-Ebola and pandemic legacy), and managing international maritime trade dynamics. Because Liberia is one of the world's premier maritime open registries, the mission closely monitors international labor standards with the ILO and trade regulations to ensure the sustainable and fair development of its shipping-driven revenue, while consistently championing social development goals for the West African region.
