Korean Ambassador to Austria holds the Second Korea-EU Ambassadorial Meeting

The second Korea-EU Ambassadorial Consultation was held in Vienna

On Wednesday 29 May, Ambassador Ham Sang Wook invited Carl Hallergard, Ambassador of the European Union in Vienna, to his residence and held the second Korea-EU Ambassadorial Consultation in Vienna.

The two ambassadors held their first Korea-EU meeting in February and decided to hold regular ambassadorial meetings in the future. Ahead of the June meeting of the IAEA Board of Governors, the two ambassadors exchanged views on major global security issues. The two ambassadors agreed to continue to work closely to maintain the unity of the international community on global issues.

On the same day, Ambassador HAM Sang Wook met with HE Mr Michael Reiterer, former Ambassador of the European Union to the Republic of Korea and exchanged views on Korea-EU and Korea-Austria relations and other major international issues.
