Amb. Dr. Fancy Too
H.E. Dr. Fancy Too is a highly accomplished legal scholar and administrator who transitioned from the upper echelons of Kenya's academic and regulatory sectors into top-tier multilateral diplomacy. A seasoned advocate of the High Court of Kenya, she holds a Master of Laws (LLM) and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Laws from Nottingham Trent University in the United Kingdom.
Before her ambassadorial appointment, Dr. Too built an impressive career centered on institutional governance and legal reform. She served in prestigious academic positions, including Dean of the School of Law at Kabarak University and Director of Postgraduate Law Programmes at Strathmore University. Her extensive governance credentials also include serving as a Director of the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) and Chairperson of Kenya's National Environmental Complaints Committee (NECC). In recognition of her exceptional contributions to the state, she was awarded the prestigious presidential honor, Moran of the Order of the Burning Spear (M.B.S.).

The Permanent Mission in Geneva operates as Kenya's critical link to global health, human rights, and environmental architectures. Historically, Kenya's diplomacy in Geneva has been deeply engaged with the UN Human Rights Council and the International Labour Organization (ILO). Under Dr. Too’s leadership, the mission highlights a powerful shift toward environmental diplomacy, climate justice, and the regulation of global waste and chemicals, aligning closely with Kenya's role as a regional leader in green energy. Furthermore, the mission remains highly active within the World Health Organization (WHO), championing pandemic preparedness, and at the World Trade Organization (WTO), promoting fair trade rules for African agricultural exports.
