In honor of the 179th anniversary of the esteemed Kazakh poet Abay Kunanbayev, a touching tribute was paid in Berlin on August 10th. Representatives from the Kazakh Embassy laid flowers at the monument dedicated to the great thinker, poet, and philosopher, marking a poignant reminder of the his influence on generations of readers

Abay Kunanbayev, born on August 10, 1845, was a towering figure in Kazakh literature and culture. His works, which include poetry, prose, and essays:  Kunanbayev's writings often explored themes of social justice, the importance of education, and the preservation of Kazakh identity during a period of significant social and political change.
