During a guided tour, the manufacturing process of various models of glass products and chandeliers was first explained, and then the collection of historical glass products was shown in the showroom, which were supplied to the Austrian imperial family and royal families throughout Europe.

The glassware brand J. & L. LOBMEYR, former court supplier of glass products to the Habsburgs, is flourishing worldwide thanks to its artistic glassware with designs by great Art Nouveau masters such as Josef Hoffmann, Koloman Moser and Adolf Loos. Japan is also an important sales market for the company. The glass school in Kramsach in Tyrol, in whose establishment the then managing director of J. & L. LOBMEYR played a leading role, was the reason for the founding of today's twin town relationship between this community and the city of Azumino in Nagano Prefecture.
