A high-level event took place at the Italian Embassy, bringing together French Ambassador to Germany François Delattre, representatives from the Armed Forces, the aerospace industry of Italy, Germany, and France, as well as the European Space Agency (ESA). The discussion focused on the challenges and opportunities of trilateral cooperation in the aerospace sector.

Ambassador Fabrizio Bucci emphasized that "Italy, Germany, and France are the pillars of Europe's aerospace efforts. These three nations are not only the main contributors to the European Space Agency but also key players in some of the world's most ambitious aerospace projects." He highlighted their joint role in the Ariane 6 rocket program and the growing importance of aerospace collaboration, both in commercial ventures and in defense and security. "With the rapid evolution of space exploration and technology, the need for strong partnerships has never been more critical. Italy, Germany, and France, with their advanced capabilities, can leverage their combined expertise to strengthen Europe’s position in this strategic sector," Bucci stated.

The event featured speeches by Domenico Antonacci from the Italian Air Force and Brigadier General Jürgen Schrödl of the German Armed Forces, who analyzed aerospace cooperation in defense. A roundtable discussion, moderated by Marie-Christine von Hahn of the German Aerospace Industries Association, explored industry challenges and opportunities. Panelists included Giuseppe Aridon (Leonardo), Olivier Dubroeucq (Safran Space), Klaus Michel (Airbus Defence and Space), and Sabine von der Recke (OHB System AG). The event concluded with insights from Tommaso Ghidini of ESA, outlining Europe's aerospace trajectory for the next two decades. The evening was made possible thanks to sponsorship from Leonardo and ELT Group.
