From June 25th to 27th, 2025, the German Pavilion took part in IFAT Brasil 2025, the leading trade fair in Latin America dedicated to water, sewage, waste, and recycling technologies. The event was held at the São Paulo Expo and brought together international companies and experts focused on environmental solutions.

The pavilion was organized by the Brazil-Germany Chamber of Commerce (AHK São Paulo) and German Trade & Invest (GTAI), showcasing a wide variety of German companies that presented innovative technologies and services. These focused primarily on sustainable water management, efficient waste treatment, and circular economy initiatives, all key areas in the global effort to promote environmental sustainability.

Germany’s participation at IFAT Brasil 2025 demonstrates the country’s ongoing commitment to fostering cooperation with Brazil in environmental technologies. The event served as an important platform for German firms to engage with Brazilian partners, share knowledge, and explore opportunities for joint projects and business partnerships.

This collaboration reflects the shared priorities of Germany and Brazil to tackle environmental challenges through technological innovation and international cooperation. The presence at IFAT Brasil also reinforces the strong economic ties between both countries and underlines the role of sustainable development as a cornerstone of their bilateral relationship.
