On the 15th of July, Elisabeth Wolbers finished her 4-year term at the Embassy of Algeria in Berlin and had a farewell talk with Algerian President Tebboune.

During her service, Wolbers enhanced bilateral relations by strengthening economic cooperation and promoting trade partnerships.

She had a strong focus on culture and academia which was expressed in the promotion of cultural events, exhibitions, and educational programs that highlighted Algerian culture in Germany and vice versa.

After meeting with the President, Elisabeth Wolbers prepared to leave Germany and pass on her post.
