News from Berlin - The exhibition delves into the complex mind of Da Vinci, his approach to research, his engineering activities and his artistic masterpieces. Taking place on Niederkirchnerstrasse 6 in Berlin from the September,12th to the January 4th, daily from 9am to 7pm, this exhibition honours one of the world’s greatest minds Leonardo di ser Piero da Vinci. This painter, sculptor, architect, engineer, musician, mathematician, inventor, anatomist, geologist, cartographer, botanist, and writer is considered the most diversely talented person ever to have lived. The exhibition aims to bring back the almost forgotten heritage of this universal genius.

With a cinema playing the latest documentation of Da Vinci’s work as well as workshops and digital libraries educating on his technique, this exhibition is an entertaining and educational experience for all ages. With a museum shop, event area and restaurant the attendees have space to appreciate and think over his works accompanied with an audio guide, that provides both general information for a quick overview and in-depth supplementary information. The exhibition will not only present widely known relevant references to Da Vinci facts, but also explore the environment, people, social customs, fans, friends and enemies of Leonardo da Vinci. In his lifetime he always sought new solutions and techniques, and so the theme of the exhibition is aptly to be curious, question and seek bold new ways to experiment!

The exhibition will change its venue and spread this Da Vinci appreciation to Hamburg from April to June in 2015.
