From December 13th to 15th, the Gardens of the World will host their first-ever Winterzauber event, transforming the park into a festive wonderland. Visitors can enjoy twinkling winter decorations, cozy stalls offering mulled wine, and a range of seasonal treats. The musical duo Laura Dee & Frieda Lee will set the mood with heartwarming Christmas songs. For a break from the cold, the Cottage in the English Garden invites guests to warm up with delicious apple-cinnamon scones and a steaming latte.
Throughout the Gardens, fire artists and glowing performers will enchant visitors as they move along the paths between the Visitor Center and the Oriental-Islamic Garden. For those seeking some fun and friendly competition, there’s the opportunity to try Eisstockschießen, a winter sport similar to curling, in the Gardens’ icy arena. On Saturday, December 14th, the Poetry Slam Tour will guide visitors to various spots in the Gardens, where talented poets from Kiezpoeten will perform humorous and creative winter-themed pieces.
The Visitor Center also offers plenty of family-friendly activities, including arts and crafts stations and cookie decorating. In the Reception Hall, storytellers and winter theater performances full of magic, song, and dance bring a fairy-tale atmosphere to life. Whether you're looking for festive fun or a peaceful escape, Winterzauber at the Gardens of the World promises to be a memorable experience this December.
