Embassy of India in Berlin Set to Celebrate Independence Day
The Embassy of India will celebrate Independence Day with the movie Chakde! India

The Embassy of India will celebrate Independence Day on August 15th with a special screening of Chakde! India. The movie will be screened on August 10th at 18.00hrs. Individuals from a variety of backgrounds are set to attend.
The movie features Shah Rukh Khan as the whimsically charming field hockey coach of India’s women’s team and 16 undisciplined girls from around the country.
The career of hockey professional Shah Rukh Khan ended inglorious at its peak. After many years, he returns to the public eye as a coach of the Indian national women’s team. Khan is set to make his team, “Team India” the best in the world. His ultimate goal is to ensure that the team wins the World Cup
The event is open to the public. A maximum of 200 pre-registered guests with valid Indian, German or other identification cards with proof of living permit in Germany are invited to attend. Luggage and bags are not permitted.
