Embassy of B&H Participates in the 11th Danube Salon
Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina presented the country’s tourism offer in Berlin
March 26th, 2026The Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina participated in the 11th Danube Salon, which was held on 5 March 2026 at the Representation of the State of Baden-Württemberg in Berlin. The event formed part of the broader programme surrounding ITB Berlin and provided an opportunity for participating countries to present themselves within a well-established regional and international setting.
The Danube Salon is traditionally organized each year in the context of ITB Berlin, the world’s largest tourism fair, and regularly brings together more than 500 guests from political, business, and diplomatic circles. As an established forum for dialogue and presentation, the event enables the State of Baden-Württemberg to bring together 14 countries of the Danube region with the aim of promoting their economic and tourism potential, while also contributing to the strengthening of regional cooperation and mutual visibility.
At this year’s edition of the Danube Salon, Bosnia and Herzegovina presented its tourism offer through a carefully prepared national presentation that highlighted selected elements of the country’s hospitality and product diversity. Guests had the opportunity to sample domestic wines, dairy products, and a broad assortment of other products, offering them a closer insight into the richness and appeal of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s tourism and local production offer.
On this occasion, the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Berlin also extended its sincere appreciation to the supporters whose contribution made possible the presentation of Bosnia and Herzegovina at this important event. Their support played a valuable role in ensuring the country’s successful participation and visibility within the framework of the Danube Salon.
