“Elas na Embaixada” Supports Brazilian Families in Berlin
The Embassy of Brazil in Berlin fosters dialogue and guidance for families navigating Germany’s school system

On July 22, 2025, the Embassy of Brazil in Berlin hosted another edition of “Elas na Embaixada”, in partnership with the Grupo Mulheres do Brasil – Berlin Chapter and Expat Mom Life. Under the theme “Secondary Education: Which Path to Follow? ”, the event provided Brazilian families in Germany with essential insights into the country’s educational system, specifically the transition from Grundschule to secondary school.
The gathering, held at the Embassy’s headquarters on Wallstrasse, offered a welcoming space for parents to clarify doubts, share personal experiences and better understand the options available within the German school structure. With multiple school tracks, tight deadlines and rules that can often seem complex, the session aimed to make the process more transparent and approachable for the Brazilian community in Berlin.
Beyond offering practical guidance, the initiative created an environment for dialogue and mutual support. Participants were encouraged to exchange stories about navigating their children’s education, fostering a sense of solidarity and collective learning.
The project reflects a broader commitment by the Embassy of Brazil in Berlin and its partners to provide thematic and inclusive events tailored to the needs of Brazilian women living abroad. By connecting families and strengthening community networks, the initiative continues to grow as an important resource for Brazilians in the German capital.
