Cuban Exhibition – Posters of Solidarity between Cuba and Germany

Berlin News - In close cooperation with the Cuban Embassy based in Berlin, a poster exhibition under the theme "Cuba no está sola" (Cuba is not alone) was set up at the headquarters of the “Asociación de Amigos de Naturaleza” (Association of Friends of Nature) in the German capital. The exhibition took place on the 6th October and was comprised of a display of posters of solidarity between Cuba and Germany. This collection was developed over the last four decades by the “Asociación de Amistad Berlín-Cuba”, an association that is known for the promotion of good relations between the two countries.
The opening of the exhibition was attended by members of “Asociación de Amigos de Naturaleza” and the “Asociación de Cubanos Residentes” (Association of Cuban Residents) “La Estrella de Cuba”. The exhibition put on display some of the political and cultural actions against the US - imposed embargo on the island of Cuba, and presented pieces for the liberation of Cuban heroes that serve arbitrary sentences in prisons in the United States (Prensa Latina). There was also a performance by the guitar duo composed of Cuban singers Hendrik Rojas and Rafael Martinez, who played some Cuban songs.
During the exhibition opening, Hector Cork Morales (the manager of cultural affairs at the Embassy of Cuba) thanked the Asociación Amigos de la Naturaleza for their unwavering support to Cuba over the years, and in his speech he highlighted their political, cultural and cooperative projects and consistent defense of the Cuban Revolution.
