Discussions on Chad’s interests in Germany and Europe
July 14th, 2025The Prime Minister of Chad, Allah-Maye Halina, visited the Embassy of Chad in Berlin with a delegation. This visit provided an opportunity to discuss strategies to advance cooperation between Chad and the Federal Republic of Germany.
The courtesy visit began with a welcome extended to the Prime Minister by the Chargée d’Affaires a.i., also First Secretary Ms. Mobaye Ngakoutou Rosalie, and the diplomatic staff of the embassy.
During the meeting, various topics of strategic interest to Chad were discussed.
These included the prospects for bilateral cooperation between Chad and Germany, the strengthening of Chadian diplomacy in Europe, and the role of diplomatic missions in promoting Chad's image abroad.
These topics align with Chad’s foreign policy strategy of fostering its development and economic growth by positioning itself as a stable and cooperative regional actor and by diversifying international partnerships.
After the discussion, Prime Minister Allah-Maye Halina expressed his gratitude to the embassy staff for their reception and reaffirmed the commitment of the Chadian government to fully supporting the Chadian embassy in Berlin. He also conveyed his greetings to the Chadian Ambassador to Germany, Youssouf Abassalah.
