On April 28th, 2024, a solemn commemoration ceremony was held at St. Hripsime Armenian Apostolic Church in Vienna to honor the canonized martyrs of the Armenian Genocide. Bishop Tiran Petrosyan, the Patriarchal Delegate of the Armenian Apostolic Church for Central Europe and Scandinavia, led the ceremony.

The event began with a liturgy, after which Armen Papikyan, Ambassador of Armenia to Austria, delivered a poignant speech. In his address, Ambassador Papikyan highlighted the enduring significance of remembering the martyrs and acknowledging historical truths to prevent future atrocities.

Following the speech, Ambassador Papikyan laid a wreath at the monument dedicated to the victims of the Armenian Genocide, paying tribute to those who lost their lives during this tragic chapter of history. The ceremony provided a moment for reflection and reverence, bringing together the Armenian community and their supporters in a united act of remembrance.
