Choir concert by the Lithuanian Liepaités Girls’ Choir

News from Berlin - On the April 29th at 7 o’clock in the evening the Lithuanian „Liepaités” girls choir will give a concert at the Kaiser-Wilhelm-Gedächtnis church in Berlin. The choir from Vilnius will perform pieces of composers such as Bach, Caldera, Rheinberger, Scheidt, and also Lithuanian work. The youth choir often participates in national singing events, international competitions and festivals, where they have already won numerous awards. Amongst other exquisite contests, Liepaitės has already won the golden medal of the international contest in Prague in 2004 and in 2009 in Vilnius. Since then the choir usually participates on well-known choir festivals.
The choir is firmly rooted in cultural life of Lithuania and their aim is to expand the Lithuanian culture through their performances.
The current concert tour routes are widely spread throughout all the Europe including Germany as well. The choir already performed in St. Bonifatius church in Giessen and also in Johannis church of Kronberg and they finish their German tour in Berlin.
