The 214th Anniversary of Mexico's Grito de Independencia was a colorful and traditional event held at the Mexican Embassy in Germany. It brought together diplomatic representatives and members of the Mexican community in Berlin, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Mexico.

During the event, a commemorative speech emphasized the historical importance of Mexico's independence. The wearing of the guayabera, a traditional Mexican garment, was not just a gesture of respect for Mexican culture but also a symbol of warmth and openness in diplomatic relations.

The Grito de Independencia, celebrated every September 15th, marks the beginning of Mexico's struggle for independence in 1810. This movement was led by Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla in the town of Dolores, Guanajuato, culminating eleven years later with Mexico's independence from Spanish rule.
