Canada Showcases Partnership at German Foreign Office Open Day
As G7 host, Canada engages Berliners with culture, diplomacy and sports

On August 23 and 24, 2025, Canada will take center stage as the partner country of this year’s German Foreign Office Open Day, reflecting its role as host of the 2025 G7. Over the weekend, visitors to Berlin’s Auswärtiges Amt will have the chance to explore Canada’s dynamic presence through interactive activities, games and cultural engagement at the Canada Booth, located in the Blue Hall.
The program invites guests to connect directly with Canadian diplomats, discover the depth of Canada–Germany cooperation, and celebrate shared achievements. Among the highlights is the display of the Eisbären Berlin DEL Championship trophy, symbolizing the close sporting and cultural ties between both countries.
Running from 10:00 to 18:00 on both days, the event is designed to showcase Canada’s commitment to fostering international partnerships while offering an accessible and family-friendly experience. Giveaways, interactive conversations, and themed activities will provide Berliners with a lively introduction to Canadian innovation, values, and its leadership within the G7.
